Account Executive

Full Time, Salary to be negotiated

Key Purpose of Post:          

To maximise income and achieve targets through a telesales, service led approach with potential commercial customers.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

To handle inbound and outbound calls from our strategic partner clients.

Build effective relationships, securing both new business and renewal sales with the ability to deal with all queries relating to our range of products.

To meet and exceed individual KPI’s, including but not limited to; Retention, New Business, complaints and compliance.

To provide product expertise and assess client needs, including identifying opportunities for cross selling.

To work with the internal Broking Team, to obtain favourable terms and conditions for clients, using influencing and negotiation, where required, ensuring adherence to the referral process.

To ensure contract certainty is achieved through the timely production and distribution of Customer’s documentation, including but not limited to quotations and statement of fact.

To be aware of and comply with the rules and requirements of FCA, DPA and other legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring calls meet compliance standards.







Educated to at least GCSE standard

Cert CII


NVQ Level 3 in related discipline.


Telesales experience


Proven track record of exceling in a customer service environment.




 Sales / customer service experience in an outbound sales environment..


Experience within the financial services sector, in particular the insurance industry.

Key knowledge and skills

Good literacy and numerical skills

 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and confidently handle objections.

 Planning and organisations skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own time.

Knowledge of the Principles of Insurance


Knowledge of commercial insurance products
