As a leading insurance provider to the shopping and retail sector, we conducted a study to explore how consumers feel about shopping on their local high street. How often do they visit? What do they like about popping to the shops and what do they find stressful? What would make them visit more often?

Here are our key findings with the top five responses to each question illustrated (please note that respondents could select multiple responses to each question).
