Calling all cricket enthusiasts - Business Insurance For are scouring the country to find the nation's greatest amateur cricket clubs!

Celebrate the start of the season by nominating your club for this exciting new award. From picturesque surroundings to unrivalled community spirit, tell us exactly what makes your club great.
You can nominate any cricket club which doesn’t currently host a professional series by simply submitting a photo or video which showcases your club at its best. The 100 word (maximum) description accompanying your entry is key to telling us why your club should win!

  1. The person who entered the winning club will win £300 to spend on top sporting equipment site
  2. The winning club will receive a commemorative plaque.

How to enter:

Submit a photo or video of your local or favourite cricket club by uploading it to the box on the right. Please also include the name of the club, the location, along with a short 100 word description as to why your club is great, why you’re proud of your local team and/or what makes you passionate about cricket.

After entering, don’t forget to showcase your entry by sharing your photo on Twitter using the hashtag #BIFBowledOver and follow @BIF_Sport to stay up-to-date with the latest news about the award.

Entries will be accepted until 12pm on Wednesday 29 March 2017, and will then be passed to a public vote and our expert judging panel – Colin Graves, Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Guy Evans-Tipping, Chief Executive of The Cricketer Magazine and Wayne Greve, Co-founder of

Entries will be accepted until 12pm Thursday 30 March 2017.

A shortlist will be selected from the entries, which will then be open to a public vote. Our expert judging panel, comprising of; Colin Graves, Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Guy Evans-Tipping, Chief Executive of The Cricketer Magazine and Wayne Greve, Co-founder of, will then make their comments.
