Other Categories of Business Insurance for Beauty Therapists

As a beauty therapist, your tools, equipment and stock are an integral part of your work – without them it would be difficult for you to do your job. So you may want cover should they become damaged or be stolen, leaving you unable to work.

If you employ staff for your beauty therapist business, it may be a legal responsibility to provide employers liability insurance for their protection, and if you sell a product that’s faulty or causes a reaction to your client, product liability could cover any resulting claim.

If you run a mobile business or work from home, you may want to include cover for your premises or vehicle.

Beauty Therapists Public Liability Insurance

Our beauty therapists insurance policy only covers professionals with a minimum of two years’ experience, unless supervised, and we only provide cover for the treatments you’re qualified to undertake. However, even the most experienced professional can have a lapse in concentration or misjudge a setting, resulting in injury or illness to your client or damage to their property.

Our public liability cover provides protection should you face a claim for malpractice or negligence, such as a burn from laser treatments or hot wax, or an allergic reaction to massage oils or chemical peels. This essential cover could cover the cost of the compensation claim along with any associated legal costs.
