It’s National Burger Day on 24 August, which means people all around the UK will be tucking in to their favourite burger in one of over 750 venues offering an exclusive discount, courtesy of Mr Hyde, on this popular day.

The UK burger bar market is estimated to be worth a whopping £3.28b in 2016 according to Mintel, up 22% since the last five years. Mintel research revealed that three in five (60%) Brits have visited a burger outlet in the last three months, making burgers one of the most popular fast food options in the UK [1].

With thousands of varieties of burgers available in all shapes and sizes, the only question is which burger will you choose? Will it be a Bill’s Fat Cat beef burger [2], an award winning Las Iguanas Buenos Aires Burger [3], or something more unusual, like a cheeseburger cupcake [4]?

Whether you prefer sweet or savoury meals, there’s guaranteed to be a burger you would love to try. To find out which restaurants are participating near you and inspiration on what might take your fancy, visit the official Mr Hyde – National Burger Day website.
