Data Executive

Part Time, £7.20 per hour (25 years & over) £6.70 per hour (21 years of age & over) £5.30 per hour (20 years of age & under) Plus Bonus.

Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Key Purpose of Post:

To maximise the New Business Income performance by validating our current data base, through effective relationships with potential commercial customers, continually providing customers with excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with industry and company regulations.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

To handle outbound calls relating to a range of commercial insurance products by building effective relationships with customers, to secure quotations for the new business sales, teams.

To meet and exceed individual targets & KPI’s

To identify potential customers through prospecting and data collection calls.

To provide product expertise and assess client needs, including identifying opportunities for cross selling.

To be aware of and comply with the rules and requirements of FCA, DPA and other legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring calls meet compliance standards.

Person Specification

Attributes Essential Desirable
Qualifications Educated to at least GCSE standard. Cert CII.

NVQ Level 3 in related discipline.
Experience Telesales experience. Sales experience in a contact centre environment.

Experience in an outbound telesales environment, in particular working with an outbound dialler.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Key Knowledge and Skills Good literacy and numerical skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and confidently handle objections.

Planning and organisations skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage own time.
Knowledge of the Principles of Insurance.

Knowledge of commercial insurance products.
Personal Attributes Professional.

Personal integrity.

Self- Motivated.

Target driven with a strong desire to succeed.

Enthusiastic.

A positive ‘can do approach to problem solving.
